The AACTING consortium is excited to announce the third AACTING Conference, to be hosted 3-4 December 2020 in the wonderful city of Hannover, Germany.

Day 1:

Day 2:

Two keynotes and nine oral presentations in two sessions.
15h30 - End of conference

The focus of the Conference is (quantification of) antimicrobial usage in veterinary medicine and antimicrobial stewardship, benchmaking and action plans.

The topics of the Keynote pesentations will be:
  - Different metrics for the quantification of antimicrobial usage.
  - Antimicrobial use in animals in South East Asia.
  - Impact of new EU guidelines on antimicrobials and consequences for veterinarians and farmers in the field and for those involved in the data collection of antimicrobial use.
  - Antimicrobial stewardship - measures to reduce antimicrobial use.


Registration will be possible early 2020.

Travel information
By air
From Hanover Airport, take metro line 5 to the central station (Hanover Hbf). Cfr. below for further instructions for your travel from there.

By public transport
From Hanover central station (Hanover Hbf), you can chose metro line 1 (LAATZEN/SARSTEDT), line 2 (RETHEN) or line 8 (MESSE/NORD) to the stop Aegidientorplatz, (second stop) and then change to line 6 (MESSE OST). Or you can go by feet from Hanover central station (Hanover Hbf) to the metro stop Kröpcke and take line 6 (MESSE/OST). 
Continu on line 6 until the stop Bünteweg/Tierärztliche Hochschule (8 stops to go from Kröpcke), which is located directly at the beginning of the Bünteweg. From there, you walk another 3 minutes to Bünteweg 9.

By car
From the north, west or east (route A2)
At the motorway junction Hanover Buchholz, take A37/B3 ('Messeschnellweg'). Driving along the route A37, direction fair ('Messe'), please take exit 'H.-Bult.Bemerode/Kirchrode'. Turn left and follow the road in direction of Bemerode. After the undergrade crossing of the railway, turn left into the Bünteweg. 
From the south (route A7)
Coming via route A7, take exit 'Anderten' and stay on the route B65 direction Hanover. Then take exit 'Bemerode/Kirchrode', turn right and immediately left in the Sudetenstrasse. Drive until the end, turn left and the right into the Bünteweg.
